I liked your comment that 99% of pro golfers are grinding. I'm a Canadian and live in Victoria BC where there has been a Canadian tour event for decades. Craig Stadler showed up once, and a perk was a hunting trip. He gave the guide a friend of mine, his clubs. I got to hit them at the range they were great. Anyway, sorry, my point is if your not top 6 your not covering expenses. Having said that, there have been a huge number of PGA winners and major winners who started in Canada. Also, the Canadian men have really shown up on the PGA with 4 wins by 4 different players, none bigger than Nick Taylor winning the Canadian Open. He is the first Canadian to win since 1955.

Oak Tree (all courses) are awesome! I remember doing my first AJGA qualifier there (Country Club). Chipped in on my last hole to get in a 7 or so man playoff for a few spots. Got in, and never had to qualify for an AJGA again. So that place always holds a good spot in my heart. Would love to see how low I could shoot out there now.
