– Working at Ascot for Ladbrokes, in the section known as Windy City. (also worked Royal Ascot 2013. Loved it)
– a brief period of time working at Ladbrokes Head Office as a junior trader, back when it was still Rayners Lane.
– Working as an on-course clerk at Windsor and Ascot for an indepedent bookmaker. (Including Royal Ascot 2018)
– Working as Head of Horse Racing for an extremely prestigious independent Bookmaker located in Ascot.
– Working as Head of a division of the biggest punting team in the UK and IRE. My responsibilities included training, managing and guiding up to 6 colleagues at a time.

– A total of 7 years working self-employed as a full time professional gambler, as my sole income.

We were very close to the win there, traded as short as 1.13 in running. It would have been nice to get that boost today, but never mind, we all soldier on.
We need a good start in the golf tommorow, big prices but they could look a lot shorter by the close of Day 1.
Hopefully when I’m writing the statistics tommorow night, the golf update will be full of cheer.
The racing looks very good at this point, however it can all change by the morning.
