I'm a huge fan of the reduced Fedex qualifier and it's already made golf more exiting. When it was 120 it was ridiculous. If one accumulated a mere 200 points over the season you would make the Fedex cup in the past and I certainly didn't care if someone was on the cusp of being #120, but it was fun seeing if Adam Scott or JT could make the top 70. At 70 it's still somewhat of an accomplishment to the make the FedEx Cup.
70 players make the playoffs. 70?… Really? Why not 72? Let's see, what significance does the number 72 have with golf? Hmmmmm… (Would it kill the FedEx Cup to add two spots to the playoff???!!! )
