Almost 20 years ago I visited a lot of factories in China that made golf equipment and other sports equipment. There were at least 5 similar golf club iron sets available to put a brand name on. At that point there was not looking to fit the trend. But now it does, with tons of marketing, branding money behind.
I always wonder what happens to the extra sets of clubs youtubers get. JR said a full set of fitted mizuno jpx 923 tour irons… like $1300 irons lol. Do they jist chill in the garage or?..
I'm a big combo set fan. ZX5 5-6 ZX7 7-PW. I got the 5 and 6 1 degree weaker to match ZX7 lofts since I need more height on my long irons. Absolutely love them! Those PXGs are gorgeous as well!
they look ok, but my ZX7 mark 2s look better and sound every bit as good also my ZX5 look more seamless than that James, have you looked at the ZX7s and 5s

It’s insane the amount of petulant comments, irons look and feel is subjective, use whatever works for you and gives you the most confidence. I am a +2 golfer and use p790s and g430 max driver and 3 wood! Stop hating and being so silly over someone making content, imagine if a content creator came to your work to criticise you 😂😂😂.
How do they compare against 0311 Gen 6 P? Gaming the g6 now but have some issues w club being a little too hot for me. Love the forgiveness but thinking going back to more traditional irons such as these. Thanks
Great video. Looking forward to the Mizuno comparisons (thanks). Playing pxg gen 3 now. Was fitted here in Italy for Mizuno 923 to replace them but after ordering nothing happened so I canceled. In Dallas for work so going for PXG fitting. And .,. Those irons look beautiful

After getting back into golf last October and getting to a single-figure handicap on used standard irons, I'm keen to get a fitted set of irons this year, but why are PXG so expensive? They're more than 30% more expensive than Callaway Apex Pros 😕
Love the PXG clubs. I just got fitted earlier this year for a Gen 5 Driver and 3 wood. Absolutely LOVE them! Easy to hit and picked up 30 yards over my M6 driver! Do yourself a favor and try a shorter shaft!
Looking forward to the face off PXG – Mizuno irons. Beautifully sculptured PXG irons from both types of club. Pity I don't have the skills left to get the best out of such clubs.

I love the look of those PXG’s. I’ve played the Gen 3 0311 P’s for few years now and as good a feeling clubs as I’ve ever hit.
Moving to Gen 5’s now but these are really tempting me. Keep up the good work James and congrats on your baby boy!
