    Great video, thanks!

  2. mark durham says:

I have an 8 degree driver a 16 degree 5w and have this bad boat at 12

  3. This is versatile but is the paradyme triples diamonds is versatile????????

  4. Ron Darling says:

Is it not just a fairway wood from the 80โ€™s before low profile fairways hit the scene?

  5. Thank you guys. Itโ€™s a pleasure to listen and get your point. Pity it was so noisy in the back. Iโ€™m getting excited to buy this club. ๐Ÿซฃ

  6. Windy Run says:

Lew's opinion is always welcomed and valued. Happy to see he's willing to do these.

  7. Price is stupid high

  8. Chris B. says:

Just get a twelve degree drive ffs!

  9. Bandit Baker says:

This new mini-driver from TM raises so many questions, it's doing damage to my few remaining brain cells.
The first thing that occurs to me is that manufacturers have over the years been increasing the size of their driver heads and increasing the length of their driver shafts, in an attempt to give us more distance. Yet here we are "Returning to the Past" with a smaller head and a shorter shaft?????? Could it be that they have been shooting us a marketing gimmick all along??????
The best driver I ever had was a very early Big Bertha 3Wood whose head size and shaft length was almost identical to BRNR so I am tempted to give the new offering a try. But I also have to be aware that I'm now North of 70 and I know that I need all the distance I can muster and I probably haven't got the speed to optimise the new BRNR๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚

  10. Has anyone done detailed readings to see what itโ€™s club head speed is against current sized drivers?

  11. Ian Thompson says:

Your making me want one. Could take the driver and 3 wood out of the bag and add this and a 7 wood. I think this is about to get expensive๐Ÿคฃ

  12. Gary Davis says:

Andy, love to see you with Lew actually changing the weight and loft around in a launch monitor fitting session for you.

  13. Gary Davis says:

Like to see Lew turn that Mini down to 12.5 and move the heavy weight to the front.

  14. Curt Chaffee says:

I have been playing a Mizuno STG from the factory at 44 inches and set to 11 degree which closed the clubface from standard enough to help fight my late square up fades. I have been hitting center of the face more often and getting a more penetrating flight. I have not noticed any loss of distance from my full length Rogue ST.

  15. Troy Rambo says:

It's basically just a large headed 2 wood in the 13.5 model. Probably good for the person struggling with driver.

  16. Michael G says:

I'm still gaming my 12 degree SLDR Mini Driver. It's a fairway finder on those tight tee shots. I've had it 9 years now (looks it too) but the only way it's coming out of the bag is 'its stolen or something a lot better comes along. I'm really tempted to get fitted for the BNNR.

  17. fretless 5 says:

People comment that you should compare heads on the same shaft? OK… Guilty as charged. Nice video. I agree that if you really want the best performance from a club, you need to be fit for both the head and shaft at the same time, as they do work together. This is a really interesting option, and I'm tempted to give it a hit, but keep feeling that maybe I'd be better off spending that money on lessons to hit driver better.

  18. WKD WKD says:

I remember Taylormade bringing out a mini driver around 1991ish same time as the bubble driver

  19. Muzzleblast says:

I'm obsessed with my brnr. I got it on 9 degrees it rolls out forever and easy to hit. Still got my ltdx in the bag for holes I can swing out of my shoes and not worry about losing it

  20. John Tinkler says:

Never tire of watching the languid power and control of Lewis's swing.

  21. golfaddict says:

mmmmm i am very interested in getting this driver….only thing is do I get the 11.5 or the 13.5…which do you suggest ? would use it mostly as a driver I think …thx cheers from Canada

  22. P Funk Chang says:

    They are sold out

  23. Tom Ashmore says:

I have the 13.5 model to replace my 3 wood and what a club easy to launch off the fairway and even better off the tee

  24. Mark K says:

Yea I can't hit a 3 wood off the deck…so trying to hit this mini driver off the deck would not happen for me. ๐Ÿ™‚

  25. carpykeith says:

I bought a 300 mini 11.5 play it at 10.75 with a stiff diamana black shaft and it goes in the bag when the big boy goes off! I use a white castle tee and the flight and accuracy are exactly what I want off the tee when I am having a rocky time!

  26. wks says:

Thats a nice looking club. I love the way it sits. It should be an option for a lot of amateur golfers.

  27. I bought two of these miniโ€™s, I play the 11.5 at 10.5 with a stiff shaft; I play the 13.5 at 14.5 with a regular shaft. I hit a fade with the 11.5; I hit a draw with the 13.5. No driver and 3 wood in my bag anymore. These are so easy to hit! I love hitting the 13.5 off the ground, so easy!

  28. Rick Cudmore says:

Should have had Lou hit it in the 11.5* for a comparison.

  29. Brent says:

ANDY! You should do the differing handicap test with the mini, the one that you did several years ago. I thought that was brilliant because it showed it was not for a low/scratch golfer, but for the mid+ handicappers it was an eye opener.
And to me it's about the dispersion, not the yardage, plus distance consistency. In my testing it was often going further than my normal driver, but consistent distance and dispersion.
I thought the swing weight was a big factor for me as I had a more controlled tempo, unlike the lighter driver.

  30. pete Kenny says:

I'd like to see you loft it up to 14.5 or 15 ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  31. P DMV says:

If there was an inch and a half of difference between the two shafts you're talking about 9 swingweight points give or take…on a D4 club to begin with. Serious backweighting is needed to tame that beast with a "normal" driver shaft length.

  32. pete Kenny says:

Lads …question for you….why do you think other manufacturers don't make something like this ?? I think Callaway did at some point but the rest of the big brands don't ….any thoughts cheers chaps

  33. pete Kenny says:

Well done lads….it's bloody 429 of your English pounds ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ… Would you have that and driver or just that lads what you reckon….lou lovely draw swing ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  34. David Evans says:

Hi Andy, a little tip from a broadcast sound mixer: pan both the mics to the centre when youโ€™re editing / mixing, the left / right panning just sounds weird. Love the videos, top class. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
