Hybrids are so good it's almost like cheating. I don't carry any iron longer than a 7. I've got a 6 hybrid and a 4 hybrid (I had a 5 but found I didn't hit it much longer than the 6). I also have a 3 but dropped it because I only averaged about 5 more yards than my 4, and the 4 is just a bit easier to hit. I also have a 1 hybrid that I love but I don't always put it in my bag, depends on the course and conditions. But I LOVE hybrids (I'm a 3 handicap, by the way).
