2:28 I paused and screenshot Mitch lifting those reporters and made it my PC desktop picture. I'm not sure who enjoyed doing that more, Mitch or the ladies π
Great video! I'm just started following you. It would be cool to see you make video with Devon Larratt , fellow Canadian and one of the best armwrestlers in the world! What do you think about Devon Larratt and armwrestling in general?
This is new and exciting in so many ways. A HUGE signal into the strongman world. Mitchell is a big man, but not a super big person compared to a norman man. I've followed the strongman scene since I was a teen. Now 51… Compared to Eddie, Brian, Thor and so many other strongmen (past and present), he is a small man and doesn't really look like a top dog strongman (and absolutely no disrespect meant!!!!!). Seems he has a more "normal" life like an athlete and doesn't excessively overeat and so on. I'm really excited by this. I think this is a huge step up for the sport. Best of wishes moving forward!!! Stay safe and stay injury free!!!!!
I understand heβs bigger than the average joe but he does look like a guy you would see in most gym like a dad who use to workout or played rugby when they were young but now with family life just fitting gym in when he can. Big fan of him and well done
Taking a wider grip on the front squats plus using lifting shoes makes it easier. Using straps also helps keep a full grip. Itβs more taxing to the upper back than legs for most people
In the clip of the interview you showed you looked personable and comfortable on camera, if you just keep the same positivity you'll be a great ambassador for the sport for years and years to come.
Mitch your two deadlift seminar videos couldn't have came at a better time. My teacher conned me into giving a mock seminar to my class of 17 year olds on how to deadlift and the videos helped me a lot. Keep uploading informative stuff and thank you in advance π
Love the angle that you're trying to "bring normalcy" to training Strongman. I'm only 200 lbs and just started training a few months ago, and I love it. It is ABSOLUTELY a valid training modality, and arguably more fun than others.
I love Mitch's scientific approach to everything. I really believe he's going to change the sport forever and for the better. A true inspiration in every sense of the word!!!
Hmmmm… I remember from following Bodybuilding, the body can only process about 20ish grams of protein in a single meal, which I am now assuming was a myth/misinformation that I have held onto all these years. Thoughts Mitch?
Really insane how thick the Canadian accent gets when two Canadians have a conversation lol. Congrats on the WSM win and looking forward to seeing you compete at the SC!
DUDE. Love the outfit. That's exactly what I would wear, teach people you dont have to dress up for shit . Well done man, keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching.
Great grip discussion very informative

Such a great interviewer. Rare to see such a professional in modern journalism.
It's amazing how fake and weird these talk show people are.
Obviously, as a Brit. I wanted the Stoltmans to win. But Mitch is a class act.
Australian accent as a Canadian, cool

The Bryson Dechambeau of strongman.
Guy is Originated from England not Canada?
.
Do you wear lifters when doing front squats?
Mitch can you chug a small bottle of maple syrup right after the last event next time you win?
Probably the most intelligent Strongman in history.
