The USGA is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, serves and advances the game of golf. Founded in 1894, we conduct many of golf’s premier professional and amateur championships, including the U.S. Open and U.S. Women’s Open. With The R&A, we govern the sport via a global set of playing, equipment, handicapping and amateur status rules. The USGA campus in Liberty Corner, New Jersey, is home to the Association’s Research and Test Center, where science and innovation are fueling a healthy and sustainable game for the future. The campus is also home to the USGA Golf Museum, where we honor the game by curating the world’s most comprehensive archive of golf artifacts. To learn more, visit https://www.usga.org.

Where is the ball?
The Sunday pin position for the US Open is a few feet back from this pin and to the right of this pin. With a wind like in this video, you have to aim at the edge of the cliff to the right of the green just to hit the middle of the green. With a 30 mph wind blowing, you have to aim towards the ocean on the right and hope you hit the left edge of the green. Holes 4-10 are all right on the water like this hole. There are many courses where you can see the ocean, but very few where the ocean comes into play like #4-10, 17 & 18 at Pebble. I want to see the women pros play #8, the greatest 2nd shot in all of golf. Search YT for videos of #8 at Pebble and you will see the golf hole that God created.
