Arccos Caddie for Apple Watch Makes it an INSANE GPS Golf Watch.

I’ve personally played over 300 rounds of golf with Arccos Caddie, and the new updates they’ve made for the Apple Watch are some of the biggest yet. But how well do they actually work? Let’s find out.

I am SO confused on why NO one talks about GolfShot..? It’s the best app where all you have to do is pay a $10 subscription.. just like Arccos! And that’s if you want swing ID! But you can use it free as well! It shows all the data for bunkers and hazards on the watch, it tracks EVERY shot you take: and in SwingID, it gives you your swing path/tempo and other statistics, and it does all of that WITHOUT sensors. It’s not riddled with ads or pushing you to do certain things. And just like other golf watches, you can see the full image of the hole on your watch! It’s also has its own caddie built in!

I did extensive research on getting a golf watch or an Apple Watch ultra and found this app! It is so good compared to anything else.

  2. Great review. And I agree I’m that passionate about Areos as well! Btw I’m at Bandon dunes this week and used your video to get ready. Can’t wait for this week to use my arccos at Bandon!

They just need the map on the watch (and maybe setting the pin on the map like garmin) and this is a full on competitor with a garmin golf watch

I've been very frustrated lately because my app, and I use the Link, has been missing upwards of 10-15 shots per round. Really frustrating and it may result in not renewing my subscription when it runs out.

  5. Does this solution have any use on the driving range, or only on the course?

I understand your reasons. I totally disagree 😉 I am a shotscope sx5 fanboy. Good Video as always.

  7. You can reconfigure your crown on the Apple Watch to left hand mode so Siri isn’t activated. I have really enjoyed Arccos and AW as a new user

  8. Arccos is like Sex Panther. 60% of the time it works some of the time.

  9. Garmin shouldn’t even be in the shot tracking conversation because their stats suck. They have a in game product that’s it (and a pretty good one)

Arccos is amazing!! Will be trying with my AWU on my next round. Didn’t realize they have improved the experience that much. Great video!

  11. well finally talked me right into it. now if rapsodo will get the mlm pro 2 instock

You nailed it on the cons. I think it’s inevitable that shots will occasionally be missed so I’m fine editing on the phone. It’s a bit hard when you have to add a shot close to another shot (didn’t get out of the bunker or a chip rolls back off the green). Hazard distances and green maps will take the rangefinder to the next level.

  13. Great video like always. Quick question. How I can use 2 sets of gold clubs with the app or watch. Each set have the own sensors

  14. W. Smiley says:

I have moved on to Shot Scope, but I'm glad Arccos has improved the AW integration. Unfortunately, the cost to buy an AW, plus new sensors (for my new clubs) and the subscription, was too much for me—great review, at any rate.

  15. Arccos marketing video.
My S62 combined withe the Garmin App in the background, does this for years now.
No Apple watch no arccos hardware.
Very accurate and much less of a hassle.

Great video, really appreciate it. Question regarding practice swings. Does the system auto-track a shot if you take a couple practice swings before you actually take a shot? I have experienced this with the Golfshot app. Whenever I take practice swings, my Apple Watch recognizes the practice swing as a real swing and I have to cancel the shot tracking. Curious about any thoughts or experiences you have with this? Thank you so much.

I bought the Apple Watch just because of the option of using Arccos without my phone in my pocket. I have not regretted it. Actually I really like the Apple Watch as my primary watch too now.
Only thing missing, PLEASE UPDATE THIS ARCCOS, I’d love to see all adjustments in yardage, not just mph and elevation differences , like you do on the app. I often subtract wind adjustments because it stopped blowing.
