Did I just see Andy Carter in Newcastle?🤔

  2. you should start using aimpoint.. you seem to have a few bad reads on first putts.. It has changed my game as I occasionally make real long putts or at least leave myself short second putts. And unlike me you don't miss those cleanup short putts.. 🙂 You're hitting it really well lately.. Keep it up bro.

The flags are colour coded like ours. Front red, middle yellow, and back blue/white. Temporary green orange. Should save you 3 or 4 shots 😂😂

  4. Dave Gregory says:

    Nicely done👍
Good to see you've got someone helpjng on camera now (or some sort of awesome AI😂)
Hopefulky onwards and upwards for the subscribers your content deserves

  5. Strokes gained stats would be interesting. You said it – "not getting up and down from around the green." Looks like a couple of hours a week on the chipping area would knock off a couple of shots per round on average.

  6. John Thomas says:

well done I was as nervous as you.

  7. Nicely played. Very steady and your holing out looks way easier than I used to feel 😂 those greens were quick but looked good to putt on

Great content again. Good to see that course up close as well.

  9. Love the description of each shot and the thought process. Well played!

  10. Well done. Enjoyable to watch your ball striking and congrats on breaking par!

  11. Another very enjoyable video and congratulations on breaking par again.
I'm working on creating lag thereby overcoming both early release and extension. When I get it right the ball strike feels amazing.😊

Excellent work Mr Carter , love your honesty and upbeat demeanour even when you’re in a tough position. The commentary is so good , really feel the connection between you and the subscriber.

Working on ball striking. You recent videos in knee position, hip position, I am taking to the range tomorrow, then to the course at 5 PM

    Awesome course there Andy.
Currently I am having to rebuild my swing. About 3 weeks ago I was practicing flighting down my 9-iron to learn a low 150-yd shot to keep in the arsenal. I should have never done that. My normal 9-iron was usually 140-145 yards. In doing so, I somehow lost the ability to make good contact. Shanks, slices, and sky high ball flights now. It seriously looks like I am a first timer. LOL.
Only my driver is still doing well. I can hit driver dead straight and carry it I'm assuming 280-ish. When using apps to track shots the driver distance is anywhere from 300 to 285. I do have trouble trying to draw or fade driver shots. Seem to always over do it. So straight is what I stick too.
However, everything else is no good. I believe I developed a massive 'over the top' motion and I am having a heck of a time dialing my swing back in.
I have always gone to the driving range 3-4 times per week and for the past two seasons my swing has been amazing. I attribute that to changing to an interlock grip from the baseball style grip. When I made that grip change everything must have fell in order….because I gained 15 to 20 yards depending on the club.
That's all gone though in the past 3 weeks.
edit: Also chip shots from inside 25-yds is spot on as well. That's the favorite part of my game the past 5 years.

Great round Andy! A question for you. I noticed when you teed up a 2 iron, you picked it up clean off the tee with no divot. What's the difference off the tee between say, a 2 iron and an 8 iron, in regards to tee height, and deciding whether to take a divot or not? Been struggling a bit with that lately. Cheers

  16. I really like playing courses without a ton of prior knowledge, it kind of takes some pressure off the shot. I just accept my choices and the outcome no questions asked. The same is true for me in the wind, wind makes a normal day and adventure. Well played Andy , the new putter is working better.

  17. Swing is looking solid, good round.

  18. wow. great round.
    and great camera work!

    Great content as always Andy

Working on strike ! I few weeks ago I had a bad case of shanks. I've had to setup a touch farther from the ball and that seems to have helped. Still a work in progress.

  21. My uncle has been a member at Long Ashton for years! Cool to see you play here Andy

  22. David DeKing says:

Good playing! Under par is always a great result. Thanks for sharing
