To land it in your hand you have to put it in sport mode to disable the sensors, keep your hand in one place then just hit the stick down to land.
Yes I agree. judging from past experience, this will not be the last version of the Air 3.
My Mini 3 Pro can almost match my Mavic 3 when shooting at night. That 1.7 aperture is a real light gatherer. Don't be surprised if the Air 3 surpasses the Mavic 3 lineup for night time video since that 1.7 aperture is now combined with a special night mode.
When you sell or send your drone back you just take it off your registration list on the site. Pretty simple I have had to do it a few times for care refresh
Concerns with the bag are dead last on my list. I will be buying a hard waterproof case.
Don’t forget, the air 3 sensor is not a downgrade, it’s got a new generation of stacked sensor compared to the older style sensors used
We did a "baseball" style catch with the Air 3 and Billy hand caught his… To be honest, if you read the manual, DJI is very much against hand catching their drones so there's never been a "hand catch feature" nor is there a "new" anti-hand catch feature. Hahaha!

Nice flight! re landing, sometimes happens to me as well with mini3pro, if I grab the drone to early its trying to avoid collision with my hand 🙂 In air2s you could use some undocumented settings through dji assistance app to disable obstacle avoidance on landing. I land on hand as follow, place the hand under drone about 1m distance, press land on rc, wait few moments for drone to detect your hand as landing surface, then drone should descend on the hand.

Does the RC2 have HDMI out?
Very nice flight. I can see why DJI drones are one of the best drones out there. Seems like there are still some quirks to be worked out, like the hand land issue, but other than that, very nice.
Does the RC2 controller use the same sticks as the original RC controller?
My Fly Combo came with only one set of sticks
