I can't tell you how many times that has happened to my husband and I where we didn't get a elk or deer we had our heart set on and we were devastated and then ended up with a much better elk or deer.

When you have an beast of an animal like that, you take him, no matter what day it is in the hunt! It defenatelty doesn't happen like that every day so take the easier ones when you can. I personally enjoy it because I get my animal then the pressure is off and I can really enjoy the visiting, helping everyone else and camping.

Freakin awesome. I hope alot of young people see miss Brailee on this episode and the amazing episode where she did kill that monster. Super important for our young people to understand and realize how important hunting is!!! So hopefully a lot of young ladies or even just young people see this.
The hit man was so right. I grew up in a liberal city, anti-gun, anti-hunting. I ran away from home when I was 16 to St. George Ut. My first exposure to people hunting was hearing the brag about the rack and all the dead heads, which horrified me. So not such a good impression of hunters or hunting. A few years later I moved to Arkansas, where grandma was from and I have many family members who hunt. There I learned what hunting was about. They used everything from an animal, the hides made sheltering and blankets, they made tools and useful gizmos from the hoofs and antlers. It wasn't just about the rack. They didn't have elk in the 90's but that experience changed my attitude toward hunting. Back there thats how they fed and kept their families warm. I am back in Utah now, but learning what it's actually about is so important. Now if I could just draw out 😢 I can't wait to go on my first hunt. Because of your videos, I'm confident to go try, thank you. Love you guys❤

I love you guys doing these, because I have watched all of your videos and many of them multiple times and when your talking about the hunts and I have watched and it makes it just like standing at the camp fire at hunting camp and tell everybody about previous success stories and the funny things that went on behind the scenes make a genuinely original experience for your viewers.
