After watching your video yesterday, I went to the pro shop at my club and tried the TSR1 hybrid. The shaft was 40”and I set it at 22°. It was extremely easy to hit. It launch highand carried much further than I expected with that high. I was carrying it 175 yards and I am 78 years old. Great recommendation.

Hi James, I own one of these and you are correct these are totally brilliant 👍👍

Thank james, i paused video at looking at the numbers , first of all thank you for not saying it really checks all the boxes omg i hear that one more time, mid HC dont have boxes , we swing and pray for a good strike, people ask me how good are you at golf and my statement is when i drive the ball and its a good hit im shocked happy but shocked, lol come on get honest with outselves, great game ,love it but full time jobs if not 2, families a home, yeah ok ,,we have time to practice maybe once a week lol ! anyway i have this club in my bag its up against Cobra king tour, king tec idk somemany different names on these clubs, the Cobras very hard to beat just my testing, this line of Tietilist TSR1 are very light in wieght ,they say that it might give up more swing speed, with a few more inches on lenth of shaft, which i found harder to find the middle! please compare the 2 if you can, the Cobra is very impressive, adjustability, 3 wieghts on the sole, idk Cobra is over looked in some category, thats all james who cares what i have to say anyway, the people are watching you , great Content!

  4. because its 300 dollars !! Why? thats your reason!!! period.. Thats insane for a freakin hybrid. Stupid

    Love my Ping g425 hybrids

  6. I went for a Mizuno club fitting and walked away with 2 of these, Hyb 5 and Hyb 6, they are the DBs !! Slow swing for me and still hit 181 and 174 yards.

  7. Ryan Dailey says:

I just dont see how technology can keep improving clubs at this point. I have a sldr 3 hybrid I game and i cant find a reason to replace it.

  8. Jerry Smiley says:

6, 5, 4, 3 Apex hybrids in the bad and wouldn't trade them for anything!

Looks good but $300 per? Pass

  10. Chris Harte says:

Jesus Christ..£240 for a hybrid.. ludicrous price..I wanna play half decent, not have to sell a kidney to a club .stoopid Titleist

  11. i got rid of my 4 iron for a ping g410 7 hybrid and i have a slow swing speed 👌

  12. My Wilson d9 launch pad works a absolute treat

  13. Sorry pal, love you to bits but did you really say your 5 iron is a 200yard club? Ive seen you hit your 4 iron less 😂😂 seriously hope your boys doing really well👍

  14. Great review James, are you going to test the TSR 1 fairway and driver

  15. bdiddy8239 says:

A lot of people probably have slept on Callaway Apex UW. Used by pros like Mickelson and Xander and yet easy enough for mid handicappers like me.

  16. J Day says:

I wish you’d get a high handicapper to demo these. No offence but anything in your hands is gonna be striped.

  17. Love my tsr2 driver. Looking to change my 425 hybrid. So maybe……..

  18. Holmer says:

I carry 3 hybrids. 21, 24, and 28 degrees. The two lower lofted come from Cobra and the 28 is a Wilson D9. That Wilson almost gave me an ace last night from a high draw swing played a touch back in my stance. It flies high enough to clear mature pine and Cyprus trees from closer than you'd think but still carries 180 for me. And that Wilson only cost me 72 bucks including custom shaft, grip AND shipping.

Not that's one of the best deals in golf.

$300 for a new hybrid? Nah. I picked up a used 2015 Callway Big Bertha 5 hybrid, I love the way the ball jumps off the face of that, i can hit it anywhere from 175-210 yards depending on how I go after it… I'm gonna pick up a matching 3 soon, the club just agrees with me.

I love Titleist, but I'd never spend that on a hybrid.

  20. Ian Scott says:

Great review! 👍I got 2 titleist hybrids a couple of years ago, second hand, 913 model. 19 and 21 lofted up to 23. Best purchases ever. Forgiving but I can sufficiently shape and vary trajectory.

  21. I have 2 Callaway Epic Super Hybrids and an Apex 21 hybrid for my long iron replacements. Great options for a lower-price hybrid option if you can find them.

  22. Hi James, could I ask a question ?
I am a very, very very slow swinger ar around 70 mph. What would teoretically be the best Club from the fairway for pure distance ?
I am considering a Heavenwood but is a normal wood or a hybrid better ?

  23. You’ll see that in my bag. 60yr old 18 h/c. 5 hybrid set to A1. MMT 50g standard length Reg flex shaft. Also got the 5 wood set to 1 deg lower. Bloody love them both.
