Kind of contradicts the advice to keep back pointing at target as long as possible in downswing.

Great video. In other videos you talk about the first move being moving your left hip backwards. How does that relate to turning your chest first?

I met Moe Norman at Royal Oaks golf course in Florida 1996. As we know he didn’t talk much to strangers but , we returned in 1997 for another winter trip and I read his book and everything about his life. I was determined to talk to him and get a picture and autograph. I did both in 1997. We even watched Tiger Woods hit a 6 iron to a 220 yd par 3 and I said Tiger he’s the longest, he’s the longest and he instantly replied “Moe Norman Moe Norman he’s the straightest, he’s the straightest “” I personally have won 9 individual club championships and one partner championship using his method. It only takes about a week to realize his method is fantastic. I personally watched him for 3 years hit a bucket of balls with woods and the ground looked untouched, not to mention all the balls were 10 to 15 feet apart on the range. Greatest ball striker that ever lived Thank you Moe

Love this one, Russell. Whenever there is a suggestion that can simplfiy a very complex sequence of events by offering a thought" or "feel" to reduce the clutter, count me in. I've been following your channel for quite some time and it has helped my game significantly and this is just one more brilliant tip to get me to that single digit handicap.

Byron Nelson used to say he always had a worn place next to his right pocket on his pants, from his right elbow rubbing against it. (I have his book)

  6. Ronan Nolan says:

Thanks again, builds on the theme from the previous video really well!

  7. Love your instruction style. As a 4 decade hockey player hitting slap shots from the point how can I stop trying to hit the ball too hard?

  8. John Whittle says:

I met Moe once. He did a clinic. What a ball striker, great Canadian.
