Have you heard any more details about when they’ll ship? I preordered the day it was announced with Play Better. I had a Mevo+ but the unit was defective and kept connecting and disconnecting over and over. Play Better refunded the Mevo+ so now I’m anxiously waiting for the ST+ to arrive. I have the older Skytrak but moved to Europe with work and needed a unit to use outside with a hitting net. I never even tried the original Skytrak. It’s still in a box in my basement. I’m really hopeful the ST+ works well outside. I would also be very interested to see how you unit does outside please.
Great video and awesome set up. One observation is that your studio appears a little dark for SkyTrak. I like a dark environment too because it makes the screen "pop". My solution was purchasing directional beam lights that cover the ball flight path and that dramatically increased the accuracy of my unit. Perhaps your environment just appears darker on video than reality. Note: None of the lights can be pointed or reflecting in the face of the camera array on the face of the SkyTrak. The beam lights only need to cover 6'- 8' and don't need to be too bright. This allows me to have a dark environment that take advantage of the UHD projector. YMMV but it worked for me. Ultimately, it seems like you're still getting very accurate results.
I would have loved to see you evaluate some of the other club metrics like face angle and club path.
Thank you for the video. I'm torn between the SkyTrak+ and BLP (with its currrent reduction in price) but in researching BLP, it seems you have to use stickers and then they get you on some yearly costs if you want more data. So leaning towards SkyTrak+. What do you think? I am currently using SkyTrak.
I dont know if you have compared to gcquad but witch spits out closer numbers to gcquad?
If you are spending your own money wich device will you get? Sky or fullswing??
Take the ST+ outside, see if it’s accurate.
