Saw the film. I just finished reading the book. Quoting Daniel 5, "Mene mene tekel upharsin" was, to me, the most powerful moment in both. That was a prophetic moment. It took my breath away. I am amazed at the American Christians who have no idea that this passage of scripture is in the Bible. And they certainly do not know what it means, but they will.

I had a friend who was deciding to believe in Christ for his salvation.
He shared when he was about to make his decision he got attacked.
After he parked his car as he was moving away from it another car which was out of control crashed just before him barely missing him.
As a result he delayed his decision, interesting he was able to understand it was a warning from the evil.
Which doesn't tolerate people living it and believing in Jesus and be saved.
After much prayer and sharing he boldly decided to believe in the Lord for his salvation.
Trust in the Lord always
Steve needs some good old fashioned ponypaste from a veterinarian to make certain he is not susceptible physically. Dr Kory told Rogan that 200 in Congress were on it. It was reported many times on Twitter. Also he needs a force field around him which will happen when he listens to some powerful praise music especially when driving or traveling. Sing to the music or mouth the words. The force field won't go away when you go through the day. Praise music changes the chemistry in your brain so you have the full armor of God. If you're in a coma then you need others to pray a shield around you.
In "Nefarious", Good has no power; there is no power of Good. The psychiatrist lost his struggle with evil because he signed the death warrant of a man whom he actually believed to be innocent, because he saw the power that the demon had over his body, which was even demonstrated on the psychiatrist's own body. No guardian angel appears. God is not once prayed to or invoked. And the priest who briefly appears has no faith. So, at the end, are we to believe the psychiatrist when he tells us that he re-wrote the demon's manifesto to tell us to oppose the Satanic agenda? By what power should we oppose it? The power of a morally unfit man who, at the end, can't even say that he believes in God? Absurd! If there is no power of Good in evidence, if God is never invoked, then the only "higher" power is the power of evil; therefore the expression of that power, even if we claim to be opposed to it, acts as an advertisement for it and a validation of it. So I believe that we are justified in saying that "Nefarious" represents the co-optation of the battle against evil by evil itself: a truly nefarious film! Saint Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
