Straighten your leg for increased power

To hit the ball with ease and power, try this tip: after you’ve shifted your weight to your right foot, let your right leg straighten a bit. This is not a sway where your hips move, but simply straightening your leg. By doing so, you’ll be able to get a lot more hip turn, which translates to easy power. If you keep your knee flexed as you shift your weight, you won’t be able to turn your hips much, and you’ll lose out on that easy power.
