I'm concerned in regard to playing Australia too often as it may be giving New Zealand false senses of confidence and assurance in certain players. However, I do think it is too soon to count both teams out, I think both could do well.

  2. Jeff Wilson is Goldie to the grey 😮😅😂

  3. Sekope Kepu is so knowledgeable about what it feels like to play in the latest game management techniques. Very good insights into how it feels to be in the trenches. Makes for an enthralling atmosphere on the talk show.

  4. Brian Murray says:

Look at the French squad who have been preparing for this WC for 4 years and used to playing joe schmit teams…the irish team know schmit for years and know what to expect…and make no mistake this ab team has JS's stamp all over it. Makes an intriguing one side of the draw.

  5. Daniel Brown says:

sadly this result proves nothing other than the fact that australia are borderline a tier 2 nation now

  6. Dumani Mjo says:

Please replace Jeff Wilson with TJ on the panel.

Definitely don’t do what Woodward did with the lions “super squad “ in 05’ . All the combinations undercooked

  20. Tolu Jinadu says:

At this point the All Blacks are the most feared team to play in the RWC and ANY team who faces them will be very AFRAID!!!
That was a ‘be afraid performance’ from the men in black ahead of the RWC2023

  21. AC says:

Thanks from SA for taking this up on the breakdown…absurd decsion.

  22. aza109954 says:

Got to give Finau a run I reckon in case Frizell gets injured. Finau is another tough number six in that Frizell mould I reckon. Both great with the ball in hand

  23. Chris Sio says:

Aussie players are not that good Eddie is old news now he won nothing really look at how England was turning into with him

  24. Peter Talbot says:

At least we have an airforce.. You got nothin'.

  25. Jade Ponga says:

Totally agree, that the skipper was missed on the paddock for the 21st defence of the Bledisloe. However, very robust discussion with who to select leading up to RWC2023.

  26. driesp says:

Great points by JK. The stick figures were spot on.

  27. driesp says:

Referees were consistent with the way they treat South Africa. Extremely poor refereeing, agreed.

  28. Kerry says:

Lock these players in to start in a MUST win WC game against France

Taylor de Groot Lomax Frizell S Barrett Whitlock Cane Frizell Savea
Smith Mounga J Barrett Ioane Telea Jordan B Barrett
    Bench
    Retallick Newell Tamati Taukeiaho
    Fainga'anuku Jacobson Roigard ALB
We missed cane at the break down

Losing to France in pool play isnt the end of our world cup but it might mean a more difficult quarter – SA won 2019 after losing to NZ in pool play so it can be done
When SA play Ireland in pool play they will know beforehand who they're going to meet in the quarters – they wont want to play nz in a quarter SA can beat France Ireland can beat France – who do we want to play if we beat France in that first pool game? SA – Ireland lost to us in 2019 – Revenge is what they will be thinking
If its a NZ SA quarter – its going to be collosial – Test number 3 – its 1 nil to NZ SA to beat us at Twickenham warm up then it's even – NZ to win quarter by 1- its mental strength that will prevail who has it more The two most successful WC teams NZ by a whisker pleaseeeeeee rugby God's

WC Teaser – Why NZ Must Win First Game
Scotland could do what Japan did in pool play by beating either SA or Ireland just as Japan beat Ireland 19-12 in 2019 That result allowed SA a much easier ride through to the final playing Japan and Wales in a quarter and semi
If Scotland beat SA or Ireland and NZ beat France then NZ will likely play Scotland in a Quarter – this is why NZ MUST BEAT France in Pool play France will be thinking the same We have to win this game big time – because we just cannot rule out a Scotland upset! That would give us a much easier quarter – we need to be fresher and injury free for the semi and then final probably against France

Hi in the past I have criticised the breakdown. I want to take the time to say good on you great show love JKs stick figures – there are many times he is right and good to see his ideas presented more gently . Good idea to encourage the rivalry etc at the NRL level. Its really hard to be fans of the Hurricanes who are routinely ignored. How many tries did Billy Proctor score against the Brave Blossoms? So good to see young Cam up there and kind comments made about TJPs mentorship, The opinions of pundits affect public opinion and can deprive players of satisfaction in their careers. Didn't like TJs electoral references. Not the place for it. Sekope was great too. Thanks for a great show.

  30. well put by JK on the player safety issue. more common sense needed.

  31. T C says:

This is the best panel of experts i have seen on this show for awhile… JK good as always, TJ great too and was so good to see Sekope and his expert analysis as well – fantastic!
