Target/Range Rules

The Mavericks on the middle area have red electrical tape wrapped to create higher on camera visibility, easier to find if it has crash landed in tall grass area, to dull the sound of any clangs that may occur from off-target hits. The tape does not interfere with the indexing, nor is it wrapped on the handle / grip area.

Texture on these knives allows a smooth release when thrown, combined with a thick spine, and indexing provides enough control to impose as much or as little rotation when throwing most styles of no-spin. Also, it can be thrown into an instinctive half-spin, resulting in the same brut force impact knife sticks.

The conical tips are incredibly durable while also retaining sharp points without breakage, providing maximum target penetration. There is little edge beyond the point, not allowing the knife to cheat sticking to the target. This will train you to be more precise with a straight and even flight path.
Due to its weight, I feel it’s easier to maintain a straight flight path at further distances. Recommend this knife to any intermediate to advanced thrower that prefers something heavier in a symmetrical elongated shape.
