Omg finally…. Ive been waiting for a good hip opening. 😂

  3. Love your videos Clay. Great drills and clear interpretations of the reason behind the drill. Thanks as always!

Hi Clay, generally hit push draw to push on driver. Went to power fade by aim face a little left of target then opening left front foot about 25 degrees. I am 62 years old. I playing for fade or ball dropping more to right but many time just a good straight hit. For my iron and fairway wood, face at target with open left foot produces straight ball. It seems a little unorthodox but hitting ball well and consistent. Not looking for purity but reality of the shot. Any thoughts? Seems like I am preopening my hips .

  5. It's absolutely crazy to me that the first time I've felt true compression of the ball, is with this drill. Well done!

Just use a 4 or 5 iron then

  7. Great, great video, thank you, taking that to the range today.
So what if you actually play with an open stance, while keeping the shoulders to the right and swinging in-out? When you add the right heel you can almost forget about the hips as they are primed to turn (naturally return to the open stance) and lifting the right heel adds to that momentum?

Love your videos Clay. I’m about to go out and try this on the range to fix my irons. Question: can this drill be adapter to the driver as well?

Haven't seen you for some time. What a good video! 👌

  11. Does this work with driver as well? Just tried it after watching and not gonna lie I was striping a few irons but I also heel/shanked a few. Is that because I’m too close?

I struggle with my hips stalling at impact and was looking for a drill to help me out… Clay appears hahaha!

I’ve tried this drill before from your previous video. Hit several balls drilling then doing normal swing, my hit was really solid and consistently creating divot. I’m glad that this drill video come up again ❤

    So true about left wrist
I started playing around with more neutral and better contact.

These tips direct the movement of the waist when the club head contacts the ball properly. These tips are quite effective for dealing with slice balls. thanks for the tips

I like the drill. Hopefully it doesn't cause a worse hook 🏌️⛳🤔
